POLAND UNDER THE LENS: Shaping Poland’s Image in Mainstream Media by APAC
Please join us at the American Polish Advisory Council (APAC) Workshop and Conference at the Kosciuszko Foundation Headquarters in New York. The morning will include an address by Senator Anna Maria Anders on the media’s use of defamatory language in referring to Polish Concentration Camps and Polish Death Camps. The panel will discuss recommendations for how Poland and the Polish American community can shape Poland’s image in mainstream media including eradication of historical inaccuracies and derogatory statements. The afternoon program will consist of two panels devoted to the subjects of the originally planned conference in Cleveland, Ohio. The first panel will address the importance of turning out the Polish American vote and how this can be best accomplished. The second panel will be a discussion of the APAC Platform which we will subsequently present to the Republican and Democratic presidential campaigns.
In addition to participating, please reach out to your Polish American friends in the vicinity of New York to attend the event. The registration fee of $65 will cover lunch, refreshments and other logistic expenses.
Alternatively, you pay by check made out to American Polish Advisory Council and mailed to me at:
